This Privacy Policy explains how Nivora - Quit Smoking AI ("Nivora", "we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use the mobile application.

Information You Provide

Nivora may store information that you enter in the app, including smoking profile details, cigarette usage, craving logs, relapse notes, mood check-ins, quit goals, notification preferences, and AI coach chat messages.

Local-First Storage

Nivora is designed as a local-first app. Your profile, logs, settings, and progress data are stored on your device using local app storage. We do not operate a server that collects this app data from you.

Optional AI Coach

If you choose to enable AI responses by adding a Google Gemini API key, the prompts and messages you send to the AI coach may be transmitted to Google's Gemini API so that a response can be generated. This feature is optional. If you do not add an API key, the app uses local fallback responses.

How Information Is Used

The app uses your information to provide smoking cessation features, including progress tracking, health and savings insights, craving support, reminders, and personalized in-app guidance.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your locally stored app data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party analytics providers. If you use the optional AI coach with a Gemini API key, relevant AI prompts are sent to Google only to provide that AI feature.

Notifications

Nivora may use local notifications for reminders, craving support, and milestone alerts if you enable them. These notifications are generated by the app on your device.

Data Control and Deletion

You can delete your in-app data from the app settings using the clear data option. You can also uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device. For deletion instructions, visit Data Deletion.

Health Disclaimer

Nivora provides educational and behavioral support for smoking cessation. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns or treatment decisions.

Children

Nivora is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us so we can help address the issue.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal, technical, or business requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
